Apologies for the delay in picture updates for the last few weeks; everything should be up to date now

Fifth Gear is back and so (hopefully) are regular updates to this site...

Due to certain issues I haven't been able to update the site on a regular basis recently. However, the site is still very much alive and there are now a lot of pictures from Vicki's guest presenter slot on Speed Sunday to prove that!

The pictures from the last two BTCC presentations and the last Fifth Gear of the series will be posted soon.

Just a reminder that Fifth Gear returns to Five on Monday October 13th at 8:30pm

The postponed Fifth Gear "Italian Job" special now appears to be scheduled for Friday September 26th at 7:30pm

Both Fifth Gear and Be a Grand Prix Driver have now finished (barring repeats on Sunday June 1st). Fifth Gear will return for a new series in the Autumn. In the meantime, Vicki will be co-presenting on the British Touring Car Championship coverage, and there should be a 2003 series of Britain's Worst Driver, on which she is a judge.

Technical difficulties prevented me from obtaining scans of the last edition of Be a Grand Prix Driver. They will be captured and posted from next Sunday's repeat.

Fifth Gear and Be A Grand Prix Driver will both be shown on Monday May 26th, from 8pm

Pictures are now being being captured straight from an MPEG-2 stream from a digital feed, in other words, significantly better quality than they used to be!!

Don't forget that 5th Gear is on Tuesday next week

After a long break, updates to the site have resumed. The pictures are now being captured directly from an MPEG-2 video stream which means that they will be of higher quality than before. Currently this is from an analogue source, but this should very soon be a digital one, leading to better quality images still.

Two weeks of the new Fifth Gear series have been posted. It may be a little while before the next update...

As I mentioned on the main page, unfortunately I will not be able to update this site regularly at the moment. I will still be recording the show as usual, but I will not be able to perform updates other than once every few weeks. Unfortunately this has coincided exactly with the new series of "Fifth Gear", but rest assured the pictures from each show will be posted, just not right away.

Many apologies, and normal service will be restored later in the year!

By chance I found out that "Caught in the Act", a show on Channel 5 last night about surveillance cameras, was being presented by Vicki. The video grabs were taken from a friend's video, and can be found in the "Other TV" section.

I managed to relocate my "lost" tape of Vicki's appearance on the Richard and Judy show. The pictures can now be found in the "Other TV appearances" section.

The current run of Fifth Gear has now finished; the show will return for a new series on September 16th. Disappointingly, for the last show of the series, Vicki only did a voice-over rather than appearing!

VBH will still be on our screens during the summer, presenting the British Touring Car Championships (ITV Saturday afternoons, dependent on race meetings). If you spot any other appearances by her in the TV listings, please let me know.

Vicki will be appearing on Holiday on a shoestring on Monday May 13 at 7pm. She will be taking a trip to the Canary Islands.

As you can see I have started to update the site in preparation for the return of Vicki to our TV screens! There is still plenty to do, but I should be able to get pictures up fairly quickly. The site redesign will occur soon.

Don't forget that Vicki will now be appearing on Fifth Gear on Channel 5 on Monday nights at 8pm (repeated the following day at 7pm). Additionally, she will present the British Touring Car Championships on ITV Saturday lunchtimes - whenever there is a race meeting.

Also - many apologies to anyone who emailed me but I did not reply to over the last few "quiet" months. I will sift through things now and attempt to get back to you.

...and that's probably it! Top Gear will be back in February with the annual awards edition, but it looks like Jason Barlow will be holding the fort, as Vicki, Tiff and Adrian along with Quentin Willson will be off to Channel 5 to start the new show. More details when I have them. In the meantime, a site redesign will be done to mark the new show and channel
