On July 11, 2004 at Silverstone Vicki made history by becoming the first woman to win a race in a Maserati. It was a support race for the British Grand Prix.

Over the weekend of September 10/11, 2005, Vicki, Tiff Needell, Mark Lemmer and James Kaye raced in the revived Britcar Willhire 24hr at Silverstone. It was filmed for Fifth Gear.

In 2002 and 2003 Vicki acted as navigator for Louise Goodman in the Rallye Sunseeker. The first year they finished fourth in class, but in 2003 their car stuck in second gear with them finishing seventieth overall.

In between the two events Vicki entered her first rally as a driver, the Speyside Stages. With Tiff Needell as her navigator, filming for Fifth gear made for entertaining viewing as old friends almost became mortal enemies...

Vicki has raced Ginettas many times, including finishing third in the 2004 winter championship. Her first was while filming for Top Gear, which led to her racing the whole season.

On May 25, 2002 Vicki and Tiff Needell competed in race four of the Radical Enduro championship, filming for Fifth Gear. It was Vicki's first race in a car with wings and they finished ninth out of eighteen starters.

Vicki has presented the BTCC for ITV1 since 2002, with extra coverage on Motors TV since 2003. Her brother, Charlie, raced in the series in 2004. She also co-presents the series' awards ceremony with ITV1 commentator Ben Edwards.

Vicki helped launch Formula Woman at the Autosport International show, as well as presenting the subsequent ITV1 series. Formula Woman's founder, Graeme Glew, owned the Formula First car that Vicki made her single seater debut in.
