Car Mechanics Magazine Vicki's first journalistic job was as an editorial assistant at this magazine.	Max Power Following her time at Car Mechanics magazine, Vicki went on a six-month editorial course at EMAP and subsequently worked on the launch of Max Power and as a staff writer.

It was while working here that she was first approached to present Top Gear. More recently, she contributed to a group test of SuperMini MPVs
Top Gear Magazine As well as presenting the TV show, Vicki was a regular contributor to the magazine.	Sunday Mirror On January 11, 1998, Vicki became this newspaper's motoring correspondent.
